The completely austenitic structure makes it highly susceptible to hot cracking so when the welding current is between 150-200 A and the restraints are high the current should be kept between 150-170 A. Maintain an interpass temperature of under 120°C. Be sure to perform crater treatment or remove imperfections with a grinder. |
